Film Review : Knight and Day (2010)

Knight and Day is a 2010 romantic action comedy starring Tom Cruise as Roy Miller , a spy on the run, and Camerson Diaz as June Havens, a car restorer. This is Cruise and Diaz's second on-screen collaboration sense Vanilla Sky. June (Diaz) is at an airport heading home, a man (Cruise) bumps into her a few times and tries to keep her from getting on the same flight as him. Roy is under FBI surveillance; The FBI believe that Roy and June are working together, So they put her on the flight with Roy that is full of armed men. Roy shoots his way out of trouble and tells June that she is in danger. June wakes up at home the next day, miraculously. FBI agents pick her up and start asking her questions about what happened aboard he flight. Roy snatches her up from the FBI's grasp and a transcontinental chase ensues with Roy convincing June that he's the good guy, protecting an energy source that a rogue agent wants to sell on the black market. Can she trust Roy? and will trust matter when the bullets start flying? Knight and Day is a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one - even themselves - are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

This was a good time at the movies, I bought it on DVD and I'm glad I did cause it was just great It had me laughing and really getting into the action. It was a nice little combo. Cruise is Nuts he pulled this role off just great. I was reading somewhere online that Adam Sandler was first cast as Roy but declined saying he could not see himself with a gun. I do recommend going out and Renting or even Buying this film you won't regret it. I give it 2 thumbs up.
